3 day Foundation Training Course from Pain to Performance in Kauai

Transform Your Fitness/Yoga Practice: Building Stability and Strength

This class is designed to shift your fitness practice from a focus on passive stretching to cultivating stability and strength.

Too often, I see folks pulling and stretching their tendons or ligaments in ways that lack engagement, leading to a disconnect between the body’s parts and the creation of a cohesive posture. This passive approach can result in persistent pains or unresolved issues, even with regular practice.

In this workshop, we’ll focus on training smarter, not harder. You’ll learn how to prime movement patterns that maximize muscle efficiency through a balanced approach to concentric, eccentric, and isometric training.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Stabilize Key Areas: Discover how to stabilize your back, shoulders, and hips throughout an entire vinyasa sequence.

  • Activate & Stretch: Engage supporting muscles while simultaneously stretching them.

  • Redefine Core Strength: Understand that true core strength goes beyond the abs.

  • Breathe with Power: Experience the transformative effects of decompression breathwork in every posture.

  • Support & Heal: Learn techniques to protect and support injuries, realign out of pain, and facilitate healing.
